EOK offers a very friendly learning environment compared to others schools and tutorial centres. Tutorial centres and schools teach in a one-directional lecture-style where teachers teach in a large class and assign homework to students. On the other hand, EOK offers computer programs for students to practice and teachers discuss with me whenever I face any problems. This allows me to learn new things in a more efficient way while also at my own pace.

EOK's computer system allows me and the teachers to identify my issue with certain topics, and guide me through difficult problems. Furthermore, EOK does not have a fixed curriculum - it allows me to learn subjects that I like, rather than forcing me do subjects I do not enjoy. During my intensive summer course, I learnt a lot more advanced knowledge than I would at school - knowledge that I will learn in a few years later at school. I am very grateful for EOK's teaching.

Before I enrolled to EOK, I was struggling academically – I had no confidence in Math and Science. I didn’t understand the concepts well, so I turned to EOK for help. The teachers patiently explained the concepts to me, and the vibrant atmosphere at EOK made the learning fun. Over time, with hard work and determination, I grasped the key concepts. EOK has made me feel more confident about my academics and I achieved stunning results in IGCSE and AS exams.

I feel that if you are struggling to keep up in school, EOK is a great place to catch up. EOK teachers are experienced as they can identify and focus on topics that I do not know well and this made me feel more confident in exams. I personally found the learning more efficient than a classroom – the EOK teachers can thoroughly teach a topic in a shorter time than what is needed in a classroom. Moreover, EOK offers a tailor-made learning schedule for each student according to their pace and needs, allowing me to focus on what I am struggling on. Knowledge is crucial, but practice makes perfect is the philosophy of EOK.

Studying at EOK has been an enjoyable and beneficial experience, which is why I decided to quit my last A-level term in school and transfer back to HK to become an EOK full time student.

EOK is very different from other traditional tutorial schools where a tutor will hand out revision materials and questions and they will leave you to it. At EOK, I was first assessed by Dr. Ma. He would tailor make a course that will focus on my weaker topics, give me specific programs which contains questions from past papers and design exercises for me to practice and gain confidence. By learning this way, I soon see a massive improvement in my grades across all subjects.

Besides, the learning environment is very chill and calm; there is no stress at all which makes the learning process much quicker and more efficient. Everyone at EOK is extremely friendly and caring especially Dr. Ma. During my A-levels, he gave up his free time, stayed very late with me, motivating and helping me to fully prepare for my exams ahead, highlighting and analysing all the key questions which may come up in my exams. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Ma and all the staff that have taught me during my 4 years at EOK for putting up with me and support me all the way. Thank you!

I first joined EOK when I was Grade 5. Through all these years, EOK teachers have helped me achieve from one level to the next. During my wonderful time at EOK, I have been working towards completing my A-level subjects of Math, Business Studies, Economics, and Physics. I have switched from my IB studies and had decided to challenge the A-levels instead. With help from various teachers in EOK, I have managed to achieve excellent results in my exams. It allows me to obtain an unconditional offer from my first choice university, the University of Waterloo.

To me EOK feels like a different learning environment compared to school and other tutorial centers. The atmosphere of the place is carefree and relaxing, allowing students to have a comfortable and fun learning experience.

The teachers have been very helpful in planning my courses and guiding me to achieve good results. EOK is a great place for students to learn as the teachers provide tailor-made learning schedule to best suit the students' needs.

The learning style here is also great for students who prefer to learn through practice, as I found this method to be the most effective in helping me understand the topics. I feel grateful that I have done a series of training at EOK so that I was well-prepared for the challenge. Ultimately, I found my learning experience to be highly enjoyable as well as extremely helpful in assisting me to reach my academic goals.

Little did I know how much this place would change my life when I stepped into EOK for the first time two years ago. EOK has an excellent programme, which allows students to learn at their own pace. At school or other learning centres, all topics within a certain subject like Math get the same amount of time spent on it. But here, I can spend more time on my weak areas and improve more efficiently. I learn things before my school teaches them, so I have made a decision to quit my school and become a full-time student at EOK. The biggest accomplishment I have made here is getting the offer from the University of Cambridge! I cannot thank EOK enough for their help.

I have started GCE course in EOK in order to support my A2 modules. Unlike the other tutoring centres, students learn with a tailor-made computer programme so I learn according to my own pace and ability. The unique teaching method helps maximize my capability and boost up my grades in exam.

Teachers are very nice and supportive. It’s very easy to learn complex topics in such a short period of time. And I love the atmosphere here a lot! It is totally unlike what you used to have in the tradition classroom.

EOK is like my second home. I come here almost every day to catch up on my studies. I am not a smart student, so I feel discouraged when I'm unable to get good results in the mock papers. However, teachers from EOK are nice and patient to me, and I am now climbing up the 'ladder of success'. I have learned many 'elements of knowledge' after coming to EOK.
